With the enforcement of the revised Road Traffic Law, the cyclist training system will begin on June 1, 2015. This is a training system to prevent traffic dangers caused by driving a bicycle.

Bicycle drivers who have been caught twice or more within three years due to Class 14 dangerous acts, such as ignoring traffic lights, drunk driving, or violating traffic prohibition, must take training within the specified period . Failure to comply with the course attendance order will result in a fine of up to 50,000 yen.
