2015 Shimonoseki Mirai University was opened.

On June 7, 2015 (Sunday), the opening ceremony of 2015 Shimonoseki Mirai University and the first lecture were held with the following contents, and many citizens attended. .

　Shimonoseki Mirai University has been jointly held with Shimonoseki City since 2012 to provide a variety of courses focusing on Shimonoseki as an open learning place. From June to October, 10 courses will be held in each department, and on the last day, more than two-thirds of those who attended will be awarded a certificate of completion.
