On July 9, 2014, Shimonoseki City University Open Lecture "Hotoku Thought and Businessman Atsushiya" was opened at the Karato Satellite Campus. During the typhoon, citizens came and listened to Kinjiro Ninomiya's Hotoku thought.

    Professor Yuji Kawano of TUFS introduced Kinjiro Ninomiya's life, achievements, ideas, etc., and said that the influence has reached the present day. Among them, when Ki Shigemoto, such as the disciple Kokei Tomita's "Hotokuki" and Masae Fukuzumi's "Ninomiya Okina Night Story", which triggered Kinjiro Ninomiya to the world, was introduced, the students were also interested. I was taking it and watching it.
